The Strategy Room

Terms of membership

Last updated 14 September 2026

The short version: you pay for a membership, you get every live session, recording, and resource while it is active, and you can cancel any time. Your login is for you only. If your first recording does not make you sharper, the 7-day guarantee gets you a full refund.

The full terms below are what apply. If anything here is unclear, email dwayne@gefferie.com.

1. Who we are

The Strategy Room is run by Gefferie Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 11978425. Registered office: 62-66 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 2EN, United Kingdom. Sessions are led by Dwayne Gefferie, director. Contact: dwayne@gefferie.com.

In these terms, "we" and "us" means Gefferie Limited, and "you" means the person who buys or uses a membership.

2. Plans and prices

  • Founding annual: $597 per year. The founding price is locked for your first year.
  • Monthly: $99 per month.
  • Team: 5 seats for $1,997 per year, arranged by inquiry and invoice. Anything agreed in writing for a team (seats, invoicing, start date) applies alongside these terms.

Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may add currency conversion fees. Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf; we never see your full card number.

We may change prices for future renewal periods. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your renewal, so you can cancel first if you prefer.

3. What your membership includes

  • Twelve live sessions over a membership year, each typically 60 to 90 minutes.
  • A recording and supporting materials (such as notes, worksheets, frameworks, or slides) within 48 hours of each session.
  • Access to the archive of past sessions and resources while your membership is active.
  • A quarterly AMA on live market moves.

Monthly members get the same access for as long as their subscription is active. We publish the session calendar ahead of time. We may move a session date, change a topic, or swap the order when there is a good reason (for example illness or a major market event). If we move a session we will tell you, and the recording will still be available. If we cannot deliver the twelve sessions in your membership year, we will extend your membership or refund the unused part of what you prepaid.

4. Your account

Your login is the email address you used to buy. Sign-in works by a one-time email link, so keep that inbox secure. Each membership is for one named person; team plans give each seat its own login.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • share your login, or let anyone else use your membership;
  • download, record, screen-capture, or redistribute sessions, recordings, or resources, except for materials we offer as downloads for your own use;
  • republish, resell, or use the content to build a competing course, newsletter, or training product;
  • use the content to train AI models or feed it into automated tools that store or republish it;
  • try to get around access controls, or disrupt the site or live sessions.

In live sessions, be respectful, keep questions on topic, and do not share information you are not allowed to share (for example your employer's confidential information). Sessions are recorded and the recording is shared with members, so anything you say, type, or show in a session may appear in it.

If you break these rules we may suspend or end your membership. If it is serious (for example redistributing recordings) we may do so without a refund.

6. Content ownership and license

All sessions, recordings, frameworks, worksheets, and other materials belong to us or our licensors. While your membership is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable license to watch and use them for your own professional development, including applying the frameworks in your own work. You may quote short excerpts with credit to Dwayne Gefferie. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.

Sessions share analysis and opinion for education. They are not legal, financial, investment, or regulatory advice, and you are responsible for decisions you make based on them.

7. Renewals and cancellation

  • Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period (yearly or monthly) until you cancel.
  • You can cancel any time from the billing link in your members dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Apart from the guarantee in section 8 and your legal rights, we do not refund the unused part of a billing period when you cancel.

8. 7-day satisfaction guarantee

Watch your first recording. If The Strategy Room does not make you sharper, request a refund from your members dashboard within 7 days of that first recording becoming available to you. If recordings are already in the archive when you join, the 7 days start when you join. You can also ask before your first recording goes up.

When we approve the request, we refund everything you have paid for that membership in full and end the membership straight away. The guarantee applies to your first membership only, once per person. Team plans follow what was agreed in writing. See the Refund Policy for the steps.

9. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, you keep access for 7 days while you update your card from the billing link. If the payment is still outstanding after that, access pauses until the payment goes through or the membership ends.

10. Your 14-day cancellation right

If you buy as a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content and services. Access to The Strategy Room starts as soon as your payment completes. At checkout you ask us to give you immediate access, and you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day cancellation right once access starts. We confirm this in your welcome email.

This does not affect the 7-day satisfaction guarantee in section 8.

11. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the site, recordings, and live sessions available, but we cannot promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change the platform and tools we use. If we ever stop running The Strategy Room, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any prepaid membership.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for business losses such as lost profits, revenue, contracts, or opportunities. Our total liability to you under or in connection with your membership is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to the membership or the law. For material changes we will email you at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms, your membership, or a complaint: email dwayne@gefferie.com. We aim to reply within 2 business days. How we handle your personal data is in the Privacy Notice.
